]]> By: n/a http://www.stopthecallsfast.com/blog/frederick-goldstein-zoe/comment-page-2/#comment-85 n/a Sat, 12 Sep 2009 04:53:34 +0000 http://www.stopthecallsfast.com/blog/?p=411#comment-85 You have no idea what scum these people really are.... if you do happen to get a call tell that you want all proof from the origanal creditor for this debt, when you recieve this call the company and find out for yourself how much you really owe. these people are adding on to the bill basically making up a $ amt and trying to collect more mny from ppl than the bill is really worth!! they will try every scare tatick they can think of just to get you to pay... when you get a call take matters into your own hands and do you reaseach on your credit. pull your own credit report ever year so that you can know whats on it and whats not, also be aware of the stature of limitations in your state. like i said these ppl are scum if they notice that there is a dbtr that is out of stat they will still try and make you pay with all their bullsh*t talk offs, saying that even though it might be out of stat it will still remain on your credit report and all the companies that pull that report will show up an inquires on your report, and if a you go to a bank to get a loan that they will tell you no b/c of the debt from years ago.this does have some truth to it, but when its out of stat you usually are just fine. also be careful on the information that you give them and what you say when your on the phone even the # that you call from, everything is documented, and they will use anything agenst you that they can. they do not have the power to take you to court so dont let them try and tell you that. by law they have to send you any and all information of the debt before collecting on it.
