FTC Getting Real Proactive And Aggressive With Bottom Feeder Debt Collectors

Credit Bureau Collection Services or CBCS of Ohio has been nailed for more than 1 million dollars in fines and penalties stemming from their illegal and nefarious activities wherein they falsified information about alleged debts by consumers and told them  that they owed money when they actually did not. An attorney colleague of mine emailed me last night with the news which just broke yesterday.  I have some personal knowledge of these dirt bags because they tried to victimize one of my clients. I used the demand for validation letter which I offer you gratis on  this blog (upper right side). They failed to validate.  Subsequently, I referred my client to attorney Sarah Poriss who sued them on behalf of my client and won.
