Long regarded as a junk debt lawsuit mill and sleaze operation in that they have brought 10′s thousands of questionable legal actions. They do a lot of work for Midland Funding, Midland Capital Management,Midland Credit Management,MRC Receivables, all part of the publicly traded Encore Capital Group, Inc. (Nasdaq symbol ecpg). Lee Howard PC has been accused on numerous occasions of purposely serving summons wherein they knew the party was not at that address and even stooping so low as to file gutter or sewer services. Of course it is hell in a handbag to prove the bad deeds but the hue and cry from the countryside is deafening. You ask why is he going on about this. Well the answer to that is that if one of these entities comes after you or claims you owe money it would be to your benefit to know what could be coming your way. They are much smarter than you are whether you appreciate this fact or not. They know all the collection dirty tricks and have become wealthy from “screwing” consumers.
